Explore Zero Gravity Canyon in Moab!

Zero Gravity Canyon — often called “Zero G” (or Little Sinbad) — is a classic ¾‑day slot canyon adventure in the San Rafael Swell known for its beautifully sculpted sandstone walls, deep potholes, and refreshing water features. While some visitors assume the best canyons are defined by big rappels, Zero Gravity’s dramatic narrows, aquatic challenges, and play‑style movement make it one of the most memorable guided routes in the region.

The adventure begins with a desert hike across open terrain before dropping into a twisting sandstone slot where the walls close in and the real fun begins. As you move deeper into the canyon, towering walls, winding passages, and water‑carved potholes invite exploration and playful movement. Depending on conditions, sections of the canyon can hold cool pools, shallow swimming, and deep water traverses that make this trip especially refreshing during warm weather months.

One of Zero Gravity’s most distinctive features is its sequence of potholes and wide slot chambers that require technical maneuvering, stemming, and occasional downclimbs or short water moves. These playful features add to the sense of journey and discovery as you make your way through the canyon’s unique sculpted corridors.

The technical portion builds to a fitting finale with a larger, roughly 70‑foot rappel into a final pool at the end of the route, providing a thrilling conclusion to a canyon filled with surprises and scenic moments.

Zero Gravity is ideal for adventurous guests who want a longer canyon experience that challenges movement as much as rope work, and who don’t mind getting a little wet. With its dramatic narrows, water features, and gorgeous sandstone scenery, Zero Gravity Canyon is one of the most unforgettable adventures in Utah’s slot canyon country.
